ABOUT THE COMPANY

"Let me help you find your home away from home..." - Nina McCaslin-Horn

If the truth be told, I just love houses. I love to design them, I love to build them. I love to find just the right house for the right person or the right family. Even more importantly, I feel a need to help people find just the right place. And, I feel there is no better place than right here, along Scenic Highway 30-A.

I must confess, I am a bit of a Southern Belle, raised in Mississippi. Spending much of my life between Jackson and the Delta, I raised my two sons, Trip and Chris, and followed my dreams as a building contractor and realtor. Later, after the boys got married and started their families, I made the decision to move to Florida. Like many Mississippians, I had never ventured further east than Destin. When I discovered Seagrove, I knew this was the place for me. I jumped into this new world as a builder with St. Joe Towns and Resorts and played an instrumental part in the early formative years of WaterColor and WaterSound. It’s a very satisfying feeling to build a house from the ground up. It’s even better when you can find just the right family to appreciate the house and call it their home. I naturally evolved from a builder to a project supervisor, working on the Design Review Board. It was very rewarding, but at a certain point, I had to get back to my first love: selling real estate.

As a part of the Destin Real Estate Company I am doing what I do best: finding the right home for people just like you. As a companion endeavor, I am establishing a small vacation rental service with a touch of a more home-style southern hospitality than maybe you’re use to. Florida shouldn’t be frantic or frenzied. Florida should be relaxing on the veranda, watching the waves, and feeling the sea breeze on a soft summer day. Let me help you find your home away from home or dream vacation destination.
